Solution HSBC contracted with ProGroup to facilitate high-level executive diversity workshops for their 600 most senior executives. ProGroup also created a diversity communication booklet that will be distributed corporate wide, showcasing the benefits of diversity and how diversity has been incorporated into the various business functions at HSBC such as recruitment, training, and performance metrics. In addition, HSBC has required every employee to go through ProGroup's online Everyday Diversity® program to set a baseline understanding of what diversity is and why it's important to value and respect diversity within HSBC and with customers. This dynamic platform provides users with a "hands-on" feel, establishing an engaging process without the need for a full day of training. ProGroup works with HSBC as an ongoing resource for all of their diversity needs.
The focal point of HSBC's measurement is to link this initiative to increase market share in specific segments of the population, increase customer satisfaction, and increase retention of employees of all backgrounds.
