| Situation Saks heard that ProGroup had a strong reputation for designing successful educational programs for employee productivity in the retail industry and sought our help with the challenges they were experiencing. After conducting an employee survey, Saks discovered that employees didn't feel valued and that they were less productive, treating customers as if they weren't valued.
This created a problem. The organization was in the midst of an advertising campaign to update their image while maintaining their reputation for high quality which had to be embraced by all employees. |
| Solution ProGroup enthusiastically worked to help Saks Fifth Avenue with their productivity challenges. We customized a video-based training program for associates entitled "Everyone Counts at Saks" and provided a Train-the-Trainer Certification Program for it.
We later designed a Mentoring Program complete with an online measurement tool called Mentoring Metrics©. ProGroup is currently facilitating a program for supervisors on maintaining a respectful workplace and improving employee productivity. |
| Results Over 4000 people attended the training with some of the highest evaluations we've had to date. Many of the attendees said "it was one of the most meaningful programs" they have attended. As a result of the training, Saks Fifth Avenue quantified their return on investment at $1 million. |
