Tim O'Malley has been consulting and presenting to clients on topics related to diversity and organizational development since 1990. Tim's work focuses on culture change and transition, the integration of diversity into business processes, and multicultural education. He has provided clients with strategic planning, workplace assessment, leadership coaching, team building, and workshops on topics ranging from increasing personal awareness to developing workplace skills.
Tim has worked as a senior consultant with ProGroup since 1998 supporting a variety of clients in a number of industries, including finance, manufacturing—both union and non-union, health care, hospitality, computer software, telecommunications, social services, and insurance.
Before consulting, Tim was employed as the Manager of Diversity and as Vice President of Change Management Planning for two well-known financial services companies. In these roles, he was responsible for integrating concepts of diversity, total quality, and workplace flexibility in the strategic thinking and decision-making process.
Tim has a Bachelor's degree in history from the University of Notre Dame and a Master's degree in Organizational Development from American University.
Along with his consulting work, Tim is an adjunct professor at Roosevelt University in Chicago where he teaches courses in leadership and diversity. He also assists in coordinating athletic events including the Chicago Triathlon and the Chicago Marathon. When not working, Tim can be found riding his bicycle, running, and hiking.
