Sally Jue has more than fifteen years of training and facilitation experience with various corporate, government, and non-profit organizations across the country. She has worked with union and non-union manufacturing, utility, high tech, and aerospace workers as well as financial services, pharmaceutical, and entertainment industry professionals. Sally's past management and counseling background enhances her ability to facilitate introspective and meaningful communication between diverse groups of people. Ever practical, Sally never ends a learning session without providing people with the tools they need to implement new ideas.
Partnering with ProGroup for the last ten years, Sally has delivered programs that help executives to strategically leverage diversity, provide practical tools for managers to better engage their diverse employees, and empower individuals to interact in ways that enhances the quality of their daily work experience. She has also facilitated focus groups and Train-the-Trainer Certification programs.
Before joining ProGroup, Sally started and ran one of the first HIV mental health programs in the United States. In addition to overseeing nearly 200 staff members, volunteers, and interns, she was active in developing partnerships that united different organizations and communities to advocate for improved access to services for people living with HIV. Sally was also the project manager for a national health care corporation's pilot HIV managed care program, an appointee to the Los Angeles County health department's working group that developed cultural and linguistic standards for its health care provider institutions, and a published author in the areas of cross-cultural counseling and the impact of culture on ethical decision making.
Sally has a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California and a bachelor's degree in French from Occidental College. Her knowledge of French has enabled her to work in France, Switzerland, and Burundi. On a personal note, Sally has practiced Iyengar yoga for fifteen years, is an avid reader, and enjoys foreign travel and dining in local ethnic restaurants.
