William "Buck" Davis has almost a decade of experience in training and development, seven of which have been spent partnering with Progroup in order to help clients develop their employees and find ways to bring out the best in everyone each day at work. Buck's work in business consulting, clinical counseling and classroom and focus-group facilitation is supported by a strong educational background.
Buck has a Bachelors degree from Georgia Southern University in Print Management and an MBA from Brenau University. In addition to his business focus, Buck continued his education and received a second Masters Degree in Professional Counseling. In each training session he facilitates, Buck emphasizes the strategic imperative of the business case for diversity and the importance of emotional intelligence in the workplace.
Having conducted hundreds of sessions in a variety of work environments, Buck's experience includes delivering training, moderating focus groups, keynote speaking, and corporate video production. He has worked with manufacturing and research professionals, sales teams, retail staff, executives, administrative personnel, and union and non-union employees.
Buck is certified as a Workplace Disputes Mediator by the Atlanta Justice Center and serves as an Adjunct Instructor at The California Design College, where he teaches classes on Career Development, Professional Business Practices, and Ethics in the Workplace.
When Buck is not delivering diversity and leadership workshops in corporate America, he works in Los Angeles creating a children's television show that will bring the message of diversity to children. His mission is to inspire others through words, images, and experience, and to let children know that they can achieve whatever they choose regardless of their background or perceived limitations.
