Having worked in Training and Organization Development consulting positions in Minnesota, Tennessee, and Washington D.C., Shirley enjoys working with clients to assess their needs in building and maintaining a respectful and welcoming environment. As a result, she develops, designs, and delivers instructor-led classes for staff development, coupled with interventions that identify opportunities for process improvement, simplification, cost reduction, promoting healthy interpersonal skills among diverse groups of people, and overall employee/customer satisfaction. Shirley obtained her Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Grambling State University and just recently obtained her Master's of Science in Organization Development from American University in Washington, D.C. Shirley currently serves on a Twin Cities board that provides services for young children with emotional and behavioral challenges. Her passion is around giving hope to the hopeless due to her own humble beginnings. She is in the process of writing a book to inspire and give hope to those who feel hopeless. Her message is simple; all things are possible for those who have faith to live against all challenges in life. Shirley's personal interests include traveling abroad, writing, motivational speaking, meditation, and intercessory prayer.
